The Podcast

Anthropotamus is a podcast dedicated to exploring the science of humanity. We bring together anthropologists, archaeologists, researchers, students, and curious minds to discuss the latest findings in cultural anthropology, archaeology, biological anthropology, linguistic anthropology, and related fields. Through interviews, research spotlights, and thoughtful discussions, we make anthropology accessible while highlighting the discoveries, debates, and field experiences that shape our understanding of human societies—past and present.

The podcast was started in the summer of 2021 (after 2 years of planning and COVID) by Ashley N. Baeza & Les Teems. With the podcast we hope to bring the love and excitement of anthropology to others and to promote the wonderful work of anthropologists around the world
